Existing Legislation Sets the Foundation for the Levy

The legislation established a contribution ranging from 1% to 3% on prizes generated through successive bets on immediate-resolution games.

The provincial government has reported more than 800 complaints against unauthorised platforms. According to officials, the latest enforcement actions resulted in the blocking of 537 illegal gambling websites.
