Stake has officially launched its online casino and sportsbook platform in Buenos Aires Province, marking the company’s entry into one of Argentina’s largest regulated gambling markets. The operator will offer its services through the local domain stake.bet.ar under a license issued by the Provincial Institute of Lottery and Casinos (IPLyC).

The move expands Stake’s regulated presence in Latin America, where the company already operates in Brazil, Colombia, Peru, and Mexico. Argentina becomes the fifth market in the region where the brand has established a locally regulated offering.

Focus on One of Argentina’s Largest Gambling Markets

Buenos Aires Province is home to more than 17 million residents and represents one of the country’s most important economic and sporting regions. Through the new platform, local players will gain access to Stake’s sportsbook and online casino products via a mobile-focused experience tailored to the Argentine market.

According to Stake’s Latin America General Manager, Diana Otalora, Argentina was a natural next step in the company’s regional expansion strategy due to its strong sporting culture and high level of digital engagement.

Continued Expansion Across Latin America

The Buenos Aires launch follows a series of expansion moves by Stake across Latin America in recent years. The operator has increasingly focused on regulated jurisdictions as competition intensifies among international betting and gaming brands seeking growth opportunities in the region.

The launch also strengthens Stake’s connection with Argentine sports fans, building on its existing partnership with former national team striker Sergio Agüero.
